Court Ordered Community Service

To be considered, applicants must:

• Complete a Volunteer Application

• Be 18 years or older

• Provide court documents explaining convictions, including name and number of probation officer or court appointed contact person

• Indicate number of community service hours required

• Indicate availability

• Be able to follow directions under staff supervision

• Be able to perform a variety of activities, including physical labor

• Sign the Volunteer Waiver Agreement

Individuals convicted of a felony are not eligible to perform community service at NCHS, including:

• Animal- related offenses of any nature

• Sexual offenses of any nature

• Child or adult abuse offenses

• Theft/ burglary/ robbery

• Violent offenses (assault, battery}

• Any charge related to trafficking or distribution of drugs

• Forgery

• Fraud
