What's The Process
When you adopt, you’re not just giving a pet a home—you’re giving them a second chance, a safe place to heal, and a lifetime of love. To begin this life-changing journey, click the “Apply to Adopt a CAT or DOG” button below. Let us know which cat or dog has captured your heart, then submit your application. Your information will be sent directly to the appropriate NCHS team member for review. If your application is approved, we’ll reach out to arrange a heartfelt meet-and-greet so you can see if you’ve found your perfect match.

ADOPT A CAT
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ADOPT?
Kittens to 2 years old – $175 or $300 for pair
Cats over 2 years old – $125 or $200 for pair
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Rabies (age dependent), FVRCP, FVRCP Booster (age dependent), Monthly Flea/Worm Prevention, Foster care costs and any other necessary medical needs up to date of adoption.
Adopt a Dog
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ADOPT?
Puppies (under 1) – $250
Adult Dog – $200
Senior Adult Dog – $150
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Rabies (age dependent), Distemper and Booster (age dependent), Current month Flea/Worm Prevention, Foster care costs and any other necessary medical needs up to date of adoption.
