COWETA COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES
Coweta County Animal Services (CCAS) is the county's government-run animal shelter for lost, abandoned and homeless community animals. Though NCHS works closely with the shelter to help socialize the pets and help them find their forever homes, we are separate organizations.

Adoption Fees: Dogs and Puppies: $55-$120, Cats and Kittens: $45-$70
(Fees include spay/neuter, vet exam, vaccines, microchip, heartworm check for dogs and deworming.)

REHOMING A PET
Rehome (http://rehome.adoptapet.com), a program of Adopt-a-Pet.com, the nation’s leading nonprofit pet adoption web service, is free to use and provides a lot of support for those needing to find a new home for their pets. In addition, the adoption fees collected can be donated entirely to the South End Animal Shelter.
Rehome was launched in 2017 to help pets go from home to home, with a goal of keeping them out of the shelter when possible. Rehome is a program of Adopt-a-Pet.com, North America’s largest nonprofit pet-adoption webservice, which partners with over 19,000 animal shelters and rescue organizations to help find homes for the pets in their care. Animals posted on Rehome can be found on Adopt-a-Pet.com, which is visited by 4-6 million pet-seeking people each month.

TNVR & COMMUNITY CATS
NCHS has a Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return program that helps prevent stray/feral cats from having litters and adding to the overwhelming stray pet population in Coweta County. If you have a stray/feral cat living in your area please contact us to see if we can set you up with our trapper.
