My name is Mac, because I was found dumped at the drive thru at McDonald’s. I also go by Big Mac… People have said I resemble a movie star. I don’t know about that, but I love watching soccer, playing in the yard with my foster kids, and playing at the dogpark…I love golf cart and car rides. I’m potty trained, leash trained, crate trained and love to run with my foster mom when she bikes!.. My favorite TV show is “Bones”. I am about a year old, and I’m sweet, loving and kind. I love all people and dogs, and I share my food and toys. I would love to have a yard and another doggie friend. I can’t stay with my foster family (even though they adore me) because they have 4 dogs already and one is a really grumpy Jack Russell dog.

Hermie is ‘special’ boy…he was born as a ‘pseudo hermaphrodite’ -having both male and female organs. Due to his previous condition, his fate was to be used as a ‘bait dog’; thankfully, the owners surrendered him to NCHS. Hermie does have an interesting ‘look’ to him, though he is a completely healthy, happy baby boy…he has no residual issues from this birth defect since having his spay/neuter surgery.
Hermie’s DOB: August, 2012 - neutered/spayed, current with all age appropriate vaccines, dewormers, preventatives and microchipped. He is housebroken, great with other dogs and ADORES his people! Shares LOTS of kisses too!

Sweet Maggie…and love those ears! Miss Maggie was another one of those pups ‘left behind’ from a ‘receiving rescue’, who promised to transport, foster and adopt Maggie to her forever home. She now sits in a kennel wondering when it is her turn for happiness and love?
Maggie is approximately 18 months old….Spayed -current on vaccines, dewormers, and on preventives etc.  She does extremely well with adults and children. Though, a submissive dog, Maggie is particular of her companion playmates, she prefers the smaller ones…good with cats too! Maggie also likes to ‘smile’...
