Glenn and Travis were rescued together tho they were very close to being euthanized. With an overwhelming number of black cats and kittens pouring into the shelter and so many homes overlooking these magnificent little kitties it looked like these guys were doomed. Lucky for these black kittens the folks in the Newnan-Coweta Humane Society couldn’t turn their backs on two such amazing cats. Cassidy is a fun little lady with a lot of spunk. She is very sweet but isn’t a pushover with other cats. She loves human affection and needs the company of other cats. She has a little bit of a limp in her back legs, but she can run and climb fine, with the occasional slip or trip. So even though she won’t let on that it troubles her, we think she probably needs a home with adults or older responsible children who won’t play too rough with her. Adorable Penelope…
Another kitten whose fate was to be born, dumped at the local animal control facility, only to be placed on their euthanasia list.
Penelope is an EXTREMELY playful and curious little girl…This unique cutie patootie is approximately 6-8 months old, she is spayed, current on her vaccines, and litter-box trained (she is a very clean kitty). Penelope does well with other nice cats and dogs.

Pistol (male), a big lovable hunk, and Sophie (female),  a sweet outgoing girl, are on the buddy system and must be adopted together. Of course the second adoption fee is waived. They are absolutely inseparable and it would break their hearts to be split up. The amazing thing about these two is that they are not siblings, but it was love at first site. They sleep together, play together, eat together and yes they even walk side by side.

Pistol loves to play. His favorite toys are balls with bells in them and his crinkle tube. He’s very easy going and has no fear of anything, not even the vacuum cleaner! At night he curls up on the bed always ready with a purr when you pet him.

Sophie is the leader of the two. She’s both active spitfire and loving lap kitty rolled into one small package. When she’s ready to play she’ll bring you her favorite toys and when she wants to cuddle she will seek out your lap. At night she’l curl up tight against you.

Prince was rescued from the local hoarder case - this is his picture taken at animal control. I named this sweet guy Prince due to his regal personality - sweet, but reserved. Sydney is a very sweet and special boy and is around 10 months old. He is very used to people as he was bottle fed as a kitten and he needs a family who will love him and care for him. Sydney has slight dietary needs and should be on a hypoallergenic diet. He cannot be allowed to eat any other animals food as it upsets his stomach. Sydney actually knows how to play fetch and will bring his toy mouse back to you and drop it in your lap - when he feels like it, after all he is a cat and not a dog, so this playing fetch game has to be on his terms. He is a total lap cat and LOVES people and other cats. This boy is his foster mom’s FAVORITE cat, so you MUST be a good match to love and care for this baby the way he so deserves. As a side note - Sydney and Max have a bromance going, so if you are interested in adopting both of them together and keeping them together the adoption fee would be waived for the second cat.

Pippa was rescued from death row at CCAC in July along with her kitten.  She came into the shelter as a kitten herself in late March and was pregnant (though not noticed).  She gave birth in the shelter and and against all odds raised 2 kittens.  One of the kittens was adopted, the other was on death row with her.  She was severely underweight and her hair coat was very sparse, and was suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection.  She is now about 1 year old and healthy—a glossy black tuxedo girl and very, very sweet!  Her kitten was adopted immediately but she is still waiting for her forever home.  She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.  After all she’s been through she deserves a a fabulous home!! Pippa is up-to-date on all her vaccines, she is spayed and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
