Did you know that Atlanta area shelters kill over 100,000 dogs and cats each year because they cannot find homes for the unwanted pets? In the USA, the figure is 8 million healthy dogs and cats killed per year, simply because no one wants them. In some counties, these animals suffer through a horrible death in the gas chamber. Only 1 in every 10 dogs and 1 in every 10 cats will find a loving home; the rest will die.
On behalf of the thousands of dogs and cats who are suffering due to a lack of homes or shelters and the millions who will be euthanized this year, do the right thing. Take responsibility for your pet!
