Have your pets spayed or neutered. Adopt from animal control or a rescue group instead of purchasing from breeders. Become a foster home so a dog or cat won't be killed due to lack of space at animal control. Learn about TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return of free roaming cats). Educate your community, friends and family. Make adoption a LIFETIME commitment.
